Petro Canada Fueling Athletes and Coaches Excellence
Every year, we select 55 up-and-coming athletes and their coaches from across Canada to receive a FACE™, or Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence, grant. We give the grants to athletes when they need it the most - when they are striving to represent Canada at the Paralympic or Olympic Games but don't yet qualify for government funding.
Saint John Jeux Canada Games Foundation
The purpose of the Foundation is to support athlete training so that they are able to pursue excellence in sport. Athletes must have the potential to be among the best in Canada, have demonstrated dedication to their sport, have special needs not covered through regular program funding, and must not be subsidized by national programs (i.e. hold a national card). It is the Foundation's policy to award grants for those specific sports approved for competition at future Canada Summer and Canada Winter Games.
