Becoming an official varies depending on the sport.
Start by identifying your desired sport and connect with your Provincial Sport Organization (PSO). For instance, if you aim to referee volleyball, reach out to Volleyball Manitoba; for hockey, contact Hockey Manitoba, or for softball umpiring, get in touch with the Softball Manitoba.
Most officiating courses require a nominal fee. If you are Indigenous, please consider reaching out to us and we may be able to assist you.
