The Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council welcomes membership applications from individuals or organizations who endorse our mission at any time throughout the year.
Membership, as well as the process of becoming a member, serves as a tangible demonstration of individuals' and groups' dedication to upholding the mission and values of the MASRC as the Indigenous governing body for sports and recreation in Manitoba.
The growth and success of Indigenous participation in sports and recreation in our province hinges upon the support of members through their participation in an organization that prioritizes our collective well-being.
Members have the opportunity to promote their upcoming events/programs in our News section of the website and monthly newsletter.*

We acknowledge that the Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council Inc. (MASRC) operates on the ancestral lands covered by Treaty 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10, as well as the lands of the unsigned Dakota Nations. These territories are home to the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, and Nehethowuk Nations, the Inuit in the north, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
As an Indigenous organization, the MASRC is committed to advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Calls to Action #87 - 91, which highlight the role of sports and recreation as tools for empowerment and reconciliation with Indigenous communities.
