Manitoba Represented on the National Stage at All Nations Volleyball Showcase

The All Nations x Māori U20 Volleyball Showcase, held on July 27th and 28th at York University, was a thrilling display of top-tier volleyball talent and vibrant culture. This event brought together elite players from five provinces and territories to challenge the Māori national team from Aotearoa in unforgettable competition.

Organized by ISWO alongside five Provincial-Territorial Aboriginal Sports Bodies, the showcase featured dynamic matchups between two male and two female teams, each brimming with exceptional skill and heart. Selected from the 2023 North American Indigenous Games, U-Sports, and CCAA programs, these athletes put on a show of remarkable talent and fierce competition.

Spectators were treated to an action-packed series of games, with every serve and spike fueling the excitement. All proceeds from the event were dedicated to enhancing the accessibility of high-performance sport for Indigenous athletes.
