We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the incredible achievements of Brooke McNab. Brooke's unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in her community sets her apart as a role model for young leaders.
Brooke's involvement with the Diversity Alliance exemplifies her commitment to global awareness and community engagement. Playing a pivotal role in organizing events like Black History Month and Orange Shirt Day, she ensures that the Alliance remains at the forefront of driving change. Notably, Brooke recently organizied a highly successful bake sale and basketball game for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, also contributing to fundraising efforts for MASRC during Truth and Reconciliation Week.
What makes Brooke's journey even more impressive is her exploration of her Red River Métis heritage at such a young age. As a Grade 11 and athletic representative on the Student Leadership team, she plays a vital role in shaping school activities and fostering a sense of community among her peers.
Academically, Brooke stands out with an exceptional 97% average, a testament to her dedication to both her studies and her community. Beyond the classroom, she generously shares her knowledge as a math tutor for high school students.
For the past six years, Brooke has been an integral part of the Bonivital Soccer Club, contributing to various community initiatives such as Christmas hamper collections, community cleanups, and supporting the Minis program and summer camps. Her leadership extends to the soccer field, where she played for the U16 NAIG team and captained her premier team, all by the age of 16!
In celebrating Brooke McNab, our exceptional 16-year-old Community Champion, we recognize that age is no barrier to making a meaningful impact. Join us in applauding Brooke's dedication to community service and her remarkable achievements.
